Ethnic Art Prints and DecorMy love of folk dance lead to an interest in folk embroidery and textiles and ethnic decor. I could spend hours looking at oriental carpets or kilims, or the intricate designs on Bulgarian, Romanian or Ukranian textiles. When I visited Sofia, Bulgaria, we toured the National Ethnographical Museum and I was in heaven viewing all the folklore items. Another favorite of mine is Moroccan decor with its bold, rich colors and repeating geometric patterns. |
