Ironwork and Wrought Iron

My love of wrought iron relates to my affinity for scroll designs and patterns. My favorite place to view and photograph wrought iron is New Orleans' French Quarter. The balconies are famous for their ironwork (described as "lacy") and plants, and fences and gates made of wrought iron are everywhere. The cast-iron cornstalk fence is the most unique and intricate fence I've seen and worth a visit.
