Racing and Race CarsGrowing up in Speedway, Indiana meant that you heard the race cars on the nearby Indy 500 track even while in school. I had sons of racecar drivers as classmates, and some of them grew up to be drivers themselves. I think a little bit of racing got into my blood while living there. I appreciate the speed, beauty and sleekness of racing cars. |
